Who this guide is for. Business owners and their teams who use martec.app to measure where their WhatsApp customers come from, and agencies/partners who run several companies. The language is direct and jargon-free — whenever a technical term shows up, it gets explained.
What it solves. It takes you from zero to a system that measures correctly, and shows you the pitfalls that silently break measurement (without throwing any on-screen error) so you don’t fall into them.
How to use this guide
Each screen of the system appears as a simplified sketch (what you’ll see), followed by the step-by-step. The markers:

- ⚠️ Pitfall — a setting that looks right but silently breaks measurement. Always read it.
- 💡 Tip — a shortcut or best practice.
The names and numbers in the sketches (Loja Exemplo, Maria, R$ 3.200…) are examples — you’ll see your own.
Quick start — from zero to measuring, in 5 steps
When you log in as admin, the panel shows an activation checklist. The first 4 steps are required; the 5th is optional, but it’s the one that turns on cost and ROAS.

⚠️ Most common pitfall: connecting Meta (step 5) is NOT enough for cost to come in. Besides connecting, you need to paste the Meta campaign ID into each campaign (Editar campanha → “ID da campanha no canal”). Without it, CPL and ROAS stay “—” even with the Meta banner green. See §5.1 and §11 item 1. If you run paid ads, this step decides whether ROAS works or not.
When the 4 required ones are done, the checklist disappears and the panel switches to tracking mode.
